The ‘Perfume’ singer’s father, Jamie Spears, reportedly insisted Charlie Ebersol sign a non-disclosure contract before introducing him to the 32-year-old star after they met to discuss a TV project.

A source said the 31-year-old TV producer – whose father is ‘Saturday Night Live’ co-creator Dick Ebersol and mother is actress Susan St. James – didn’t mind signing the document, as he knew he would be required to do so because Britney is still legally under her father’s guardianship via a conservatorship following her public breakdown in 2007.

The insider also revealed the aspiring director is taking the agreement very seriously and has told his friends nothing about the pop star, as there are ”severe” penalties for violating it even though their romance is not ”serious yet,” according to gossip website TMZ.com.

Britney shared a number of photographs of herself with her new beau on Instagram over the weekend after confirming they are dating.

Last week, she said: ”Yes there is a special someone. It’s very new.”

The blonde beauty, who has sons Sean, nine, and Jayden, eight, with ex-husband Kevin Federline, split from legal researcher David Lucado in August after 18 months of dating, amid rumours he cheated on her, and recently claimed she wasn’t looking for a new romance.

She said: ”I am pretty damn happy right now.

”It’s all about setting yourself a goal and going for that and just being motivated and staying true to yourself.”
